> 2012 / Brass Monkey Bar / tiki mug

I drew and designed a mug for Copenhagen based tiki bar Brass Monkey. A tiki bar is inspired by the exotic far away islands of Hawaii, Polynesia and the dark jungles of Africa.

After final prototyping the design was then sculpted, cast and turned into a range of slip casting clay forms and put into production by London based but world famous tiki interior experts Cheeky Tiki.

A special rum based cocktail was developed for the new monkey mug which tastes of midnight tribal orgies and coconut palmtrees at sunrise.

Glaze tests - which one should we go for? They're all pretty 1970's...
